I got my cover yesterday and this time Martine has outdone herself! I LOVE this guy.....I mean cover. He is so much what I saw as Michael in my mind. Pragmatic, having fun, and utterly gorgeous -- and she totally caught the mood of Thermodon, the planet he lands on.

His Eyes and The Spell have a home!

I got the call on Monday -- Siren-Bookstrand is signing His Eyes and The Spell! I'm totally jacked.

The Spell will be out with Siren in October and His Eyes with Bookstrand in November.

Word is too that Mistaken Bride will have a home soon too!

America's Hero is now available in print!

I happened on the Champagne site this morning and saw that America's Hero is now available in print! It will soon be moving to Amazon but for now it's on the Champagne site (www.champagnebooks.com) and that cover looks outstanding!

But the really really great news is that it debuted on Wednesday, the 15th, and in two days ranked 193 out of 9973 romances over all! I'm so jacked! Whoooo hoooo!

Amazonia -- Book 2 of Descendants of Earth has a home!

And this was utterly painless! It helps to have a really, really, really good editor working with you!

Amazonia is book two my Descendants of Earth series. Readers met Michael La Rosa in book 1, Jason's Accord. Initally Michael was just a secondary character, nothing special and there to move the story along. Well one of my two editors at eXtasy (I adore both of them), Bea, felt there was something more to Michael and she egged me on to do his story. So for my 2008 Nano Write I did Michael's story -- Amazonia. With some fine tuning the past few weeks I took a deep breath and submitted it on Monday night to eXtasy....and woke up the next morning to a contract for it! My editor liked the original story, likes to keep series together and liked the synopsis. I'm thrilled! Amazonia will be available at eXtasy Books at www.Extasy.com

I like this story - it was a stretch for me and it felt good to take myself to another level.

Her Eyes has received two outstanding nominations!

The past week Jennifer Cloud and I received word that Her Eyes has been nominated as a 2008 Romantic Times Reviewers Choice award and for best contemporary and cover at the Love Romances Cafe!

For a book that started out as speculation between the two of us this it more than I ever expected!
